Each mattress is made to order and packaged with care, using recycled or recyclable materials whenever possible, so our process is as considered as the product itself.
The foams used in our mattresses are carefully selected and CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning they meet or exceed rigorous third-party standards for content, emissions, and performance—without compromising the feel and longevity you expect from a traditionally inspired mattress.
CertiPUR-US® Certified foams are made:
- Without ozone depleters
- Without heavy metals such as mercury or lead
- Without prohibited phthalates
- With low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) for improved indoor air quality
- Without PBDEs (Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers) in flame retardants

Nope! We have chosen to focus on the quality of the layers instead of the number, and refuse to include extra layers you can't feel just so we can charge you more. If the foam doesn't improve the feel or airflow, you won't find it in our mattress.

Layer 2 — Durable base layer that provides support for your back. This layer will vary in thickness depending on the mattress height you choose.
Certified
All of the foams used in the Dream Nº 5 Mattress are Certi-Pur US certified, meaning they are made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead and other heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. They are Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million). This means a healthier sleep for you, and for our planet.
Does the Dream Nº 5 require a box spring?
No, a box spring is not required if your current setup provides enough even support. You do not need to replace your current box spring if it is still in great shape.
The mattress needs to be supported at all times, so platform antique bed frames and slatted antique bed frames will support our mattress without requiring a box spring. The space between individual slats should be fewer than 4” for the right support.
